The Audio Logic MT 44 Quad Noise Gate contains four independent
expander-type noise gates in a 1 3/4 inch rack space. RELEASE time,
THRESHOLD, and RANGE are user controllable. Attenuation can be varied
from 0 dB to 100 dB with the RANGE control. Additionally, a KEY INPUT
is provided for gating or "keying" by a signal other than the input. A
CONTROL OUTPUT is also provided for triggering other devices with a 5
volt rising edge from the selected channel, when the input rises above
the threshold of that channel. Monitoring the MR 44's operation is
easy. A front panel LED indicates the operating status of each channel,
lighting when the input signal is being gated (attenuated). Each
channel is switchable: GATE, KEY, or OFF.
