As the technology of consumer electronics continues to evolve, sound
control solutions need to meet greater acoustical demands while
maintaining aesthetic appeal. The SonicPrint line offers a
sophisticated look with our acoustically “transparent” fabric that is
available in a multitude of design options to go perfectly with the
decor of your home.
SonicPrint panels help control excessive reverberation and echo that
are caused by hard surfaces like drywall, concrete or wood.
Strategically placing SonicPrint panels on the walls can help absorb
unwanted sound energy so you can hear your music and movies as they
were intended to be heard.
To create SonicPrint Auralex have combined their industry standard
absorptive fiberglass core with a new proprietary printing process that
allows the fabric to absorb sound while maintaining the vivid color of
the image. The panels are 1” thick and available in standard sizes of
2’x2’, 2’x3’ and 2’x4’. Custom sizes and designs are also available,
with a free hour of setup time provided by Auralex's art team. If
additional art time is needed, hourly fees may apply. Auralex will
contact customer for approval.
The Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of SonicPrint panels is
between .85 and 1.00, depending on mounting the product flush or off
the wall. NRC can also vary slightly depending upon the print density
and the application of a scrim. By utilizing any ofAuralex's panels,
you will improve the acoustics of your room. However, for the best
results, please fill out and submit a Free Personalized Room Analysis Form.
Like any piece of art, SonicPrint should not be exposed to harsh
chemicals or direct sunlight. In normal, indoor conditions, the panels
will resist fading. Like all fabrics and art prints, if exposed to
outdoor conditions or continuous direct sunlight, they will fade over
time. If stained or dirty, panels can be cleaned using a mild, color -
safe detergent such as Woolite.Auralex recommends spot testing your
cleaning agent on the back of the panel to assure that it is not
harmful before cleaning the face of your SonicPrint.
