Utilizing one of Kimber's most advanced geometries, the Hero's
GryoQuadratic™ braided design is a true evolution of the famous Silver
Streak sound. VariStrand™, Hyper-pure copper and silver conductors with
Dual Teflon® insulation play their parts beautifully as Hero delivers
full tonal balance with an increased level of detail. Wide open
soundstage with traditional Kimber Kable three dimensionality. The Hero
reveals more texture in voices and instruments. An increase in bass
detail often comes at the cost of midrange fidelity, not so with the
Hero. Think of Hero as a Silver Streak with better overall dynamics. As
a product of the year and a perennial feature on most Recommended
Components lists, Hero holds it's head up in a league of products many
times it's price. Hero single-ended can be terminated with Kimber's
Ultraplate™ RCA type connectors or with WBT™ RCA type connectors. Hero
Balanced features "studio grade" XLR type connectors with silver plated
contacts.
