The Superlux E524/D is a stereo microphone incorporating two matched 16mm electret condenser capsules in a X/Y 90 degree configuration. It is designed for broadcast, professional recording and DAT field use. The matched capsules insure uniform polar response across the frequency band and feature superior off-axis rejection delivering excellent gain and the ability to accurately capture the spatial impact, detail and realism of a live sound field.

The E524/D’s on/off switch can be locked in the on position to prevent accidental power off. It can operate on phantom power or use a 1.5 V AA battery to provide up to 720 hours of operation. It is supplied in a hard shell carrying case and comes with a table stand, stand adaptor, soft pouch, wind screen and a 5 meter cable. The sound, quality and breadth of the stereo image combined with the low inherent noise and high sound pressure capabilities of the E524/D stereo microphone make it extremely valuable for a wide variety of live sound applications.
